OVER BOARD is a magazine about table-top gaming designed from scratch using InDesign. The masthead was designed in Illustrator and the cover image photo manipulation was done in Photoshop.

The spreads were put together with photographs I took and text I wrote, using paragraph styles to keep various elements of the text consistent across articles. I manipulated the photographs that I took for the magazine’s covers, applying an effect and colorizing them to make the various photos have a consistent feel across all issues. For keeping the magazine covers consistent across time, but also not boring, I designed a system of rules for the position of the elements on the cover as well as a color-scheme.
